How I built my own landing page in one day for under $20 (no coding, no design skills needed)

Last week, I built a complete landing page for my voice typing app, VoiceTypePro. Total cost? $20. Time? One day.

Here's why this matters:

Most entrepreneurs I talk to think they need thousands of dollars for a designer, then thousands more for a developer. I used to think that too.

But I'm bootstrapping my startup. I needed something fast and cheap that still looked good.

What I used:

• Tool: V0 (there are others like Framer, but V0 worked for me) • Cost: $20 monthly plan • Time: 1 day, about 60 iterations

My simple 3-step process:

1. Plan what you need

I knew I wanted: intro section, features, and a big "download" button. That's it.

2. Find websites you love

I collected 3-4 landing pages that felt right. Then I told the AI: "Make mine look like this one."

3. Keep improving

Version 1 wasn't perfect. Neither was version 10. But by version 60, I had exactly what I wanted.

The real game-changer?

You can talk to these AI tools like a human. No tech words needed. Just say "make the button bigger" or "change this color."

Is my landing page as good as Apple's? No. But it gets the job done and clearly shows what VoiceTypePro does.

Why I'm sharing this:

Too many great business ideas never launch because people think they need big budgets for "professional" websites.

You don't.

If you can chat with a friend, you can build a landing page.

Fun fact: I'm actually writing this post using VoiceTypePro - it turns my voice into text instantly!)
